The People / HR function is currently going through a transformation towards building a best in class HR organization which is able to support GL’s fast-growing business: With this in mind, we are therefore searching for a Senior Specialist, to join our EMEA Total Rewards (TR) team.
The EMEA Senior Specialist plays a pivotal role in processing the Compensation, Benefits and Recognition policies and programs for the EMEA GL organization. This position requires a proficient understanding of Total Rewards and HR analytics to ensure that our Total Rewards packages are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our organizational goals.
This position is responsible for consulting and partnering with assigned Business Unit/Function/Region clients/HR Business Partners and Global People Solutions (GPS) on TR issues and leading a variety of broader TR activities.
It requires a key understanding of the Regional trends and practices and must stay abreast of Compensation, Benefits and Recognition best practices, critical jobs, legal developments, emerging trends, and technological advancements. Proficient knowledge of core TR systems and the willingness to learn and support on new TR systems is a key, required skill.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in all MS-Office products required, but in particular Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in HR analytics and data interpretation
- Strong attention to details and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English required, reading, writing and speaking
- Proactivity and sense of ownership
Responsibilities:
- Build strong, lasting relationships within Total Rewards, People and all relevant key stakeholders.
- Evaluate current Total Rewards policies and programs, against internal and external market best practices.
- Compare Total Rewards policies and programs, across Job Architecture, geographies and salaries through data and cost analyses; e.g., Salary
- Conversion within Legalization in EMEA countries.
- Handle restructuring of employee´s Total Rewards (e.g., due to relocation) as per internal policies and programs.
- Support with external reporting including diversity (currently including gender pay and pay equity)
- Design reports and recommendations based on research and analysis.
- Preparation of reports, statements and statistics; e.g., Geographic and / or DU Compensation and / or Benefit Employee data, including internal or external market data and analysis / observations.
- Ensure compliance with Country legislation for all Total Rewards programs and policies.
- Provide the support in the evaluation of Benefits practices & programs through research, surveys and analysis of benefit trends for specific countries and EMEA markets; e.g., whether through an individual Country request or based on an holistic Regional review, compare current practices, against the external market and propose competitive and equitable adjustments.
- Review and update Benefits and Recognition programs, policies, procedures according to companies requirements.
