Description:
Our client is one of the leading companies on the market which provides Big Data, Data Integration, Data Preparation and Enterprise Application Integration software and services. Its products allow to build data integration process, migrate data safely, process big amount of data, cleanse data and check its quality.
Requirements:
We are looking for a back-end developer to integrate the team in charge of developing and deploying in production new features for Dataops platform.
This new teammate should master Java, Spring, Docker. The developer will also be in charge of designing the API for the new services under development.
The ideal candidate should be well-versed with the entire software development lifecycle. Apart from possessing strong technical skills, the consultant should be open to technical and non-technical options that will help improve the product.
Dataops platform is developed in Java 11/17, SpringBoot. It uses Docker, Kubernetes and modern CI / CD technology. The backends in use are PostgreSQL, AMQ, Kafka, MongoDB.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop the API for the new services/evolutions under development
- Participation to design session with team
- Develop the automatic tests associated with the feature
- Support other developers using the API in the scope of responsibility of the team and fix remaining bugs
Skills and experience:
- At least around 2 years of practical experience in software development
- Willingness to work in a large organization
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience in Java, Spring and Docker
- Ability to communicate smoothly, effectively and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in API design
Nice to have:
- Experience with architecting and implementing solutions at scale
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Postgresql, MongoDB
- Experience in working within a distributed & international agile team environment
