Description:
Customer is one of the biggest companies on the market of home entertainment consumer electronics devices that strives to provide their clients with high-quality products and services.
This position collaborates with a geographically diverse team to develop, deliver, and maintain the backend systems for digital subscription and transactional products across the Customer’ SVOD portfolio. As a member of a team including developers with a range of specialties, as well as dedicated QA team members, this role requires familiarity with backend services, microservice, API design and development.
Wage: From 2800€/Gross. Final salary will reflect your skills and experience
Requirements:
Required:
- 4+ years of professional experience using Java, REST Webservices, Hibernate, JPA
- Strong practice Design Patterns and Java Enterprise Design Patterns, main java data structures and algorithms experience
- Practice in Java (J2EE), SpringBoot, Spring security, Docker, ElasticSearch
- AWS (or comparable cloud solution) experience (Lambdas, S3, SQS, SNS, Step functions, Kinesis, etc.)
- Practise and good knowledge of PSQL or SQL, queries tuning and optimization, strong knowledge of relational database basis

Working knowledge of Git and version control best practices
- Good collaborator and teammate, with exceptional communication skills
- Good use-case/feature/task estimation skills
- Passion for engineering; looks for novel and creative solutions to complex, systematic problems. Proven ability to look beyond the surface to understand root causes in building long term solutions
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn Scrum/Agile methodology
- Upper Intermediate English (writing and speaking)
Would be a plus:
- Analytical streaming systems (New Relic, Youbora, Amplitude etc.)
- Payment gateway API (Stripe, Samsung Checkout, Google Play Store intgeration, Apple Store integration etc.)
- Experience with account, authentication, or purchase systems

Experience in or assisting in QA tasks such as writing XRay (or like) test cases
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional distributed team of engineers to deliver key products on schedule
- Tasks include designing, developing, testing, and documenting services and new features
- Introduce and analyze requirements
- Ability to work effectively, independently, and in a team environment
- Performing other related duties as assigned
- Supervise problem solving on result-driven basis
- Participate in technical interviews
