The Opportunity:
We are revolutionizing sound delivery and are building a lean, design-focused product development team to help execute our product vision.
We are looking for a talented C++ software engineer to join our team. You will work with a passionate team to bring sound in gaming industry to the next level.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software development, or demonstrate equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of professional experience in a related field
- Demonstrable proficiency in C/C++, ideally for audio or video digital signal processing
- Professional experience in one or more of the following: spatial audio, perceptual audio coding, digital signal processing, OTT delivery frameworks such as HTTPS Live Streaming (HLS).
- Demonstrable proficiency in software test development and automated test frameworks (e.g. pytest, Googletest)
- Professional experience in one or more areas: media processing APIs and software constructs for Microsoft OS, such as UWP, ISpatialAudioClient, WASAPI, Media Foundation, and audio processing objects (APOs)
- Proficiency in Python, Javascript, or C#
- Proficiency with the conan.io package manager
- Professional or personal software experience in Over-the-top (OTT) services, game development, Bluetooth, or VoIP
- Experience with perceptual codecs
- Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, or lean software development principles
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) infrastructure
- Familiarity with the open-source development and the open-source community
- Familiarity with audio content creation tools, such as Pro Tools, Final Cut Pro, Logic, or Reaper
- Effusive passion for movies, music, and video games!
