Description:
Schindler is a Swiss multinational company which manufactures escalators, moving walkways, and elevators worldwide, founded in Switzerland in 1874. Schindler produces, installs, maintains and modernizes elevators and escalators in many types of buildings including residential, commercial and high-rise buildings.
Requirements:
– primary technical skill is C++
– at least 4 years of commerical experience
– good knowledge of OOP / OOD
– previous experience with developing test simulations / test engines (also called test harness) is required
– previous experience with embedded software testing is desired
– familiarity with elevators (and especially controllers) would be a plus
Responsibilities:
The expectations from this position is to help building a solution that emulates Elevator and Escalator systems. These virtual elevators and escalators will be primarily used for building a test platform.
It would be expected from you to:
- Learn about elevators and escalators world
- Design separate programming modules
- Develop virtual elevator and escalator systems
- Participate in project planning
