Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Developer with expertise in SQL queries and coding experience to join our team. The Senior SQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL queries and database structures for our company’s data systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in writing efficient and high-performing SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision making. Additionally, experience with understanding of applications will be preferred.
Requirements:
MUST
• 5+ years of experience in SQL development, with a focus on complex queries and database optimization
• Expertise in SQL programming, including stored procedures, triggers, and views
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational databases
DESIRED
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing is a plus
• Understanding of applications and programming experience in SQL or other programming languages is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis
• Optimize database performance through index tuning, query optimization, and other methods
• Develop and maintain database structures and data models
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide insights through SQL queries
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
• Develop and maintain documentation for database systems and SQL queries
• Develop applications using SQL and other programming languages
