Description:
Our Client is world-leading manufacturer of premium quality “smart” beds designed to help answer questions around not being able to sleep at night through innovative technologies and digitilized solutions.
Our client is a fast-moving, highly technical team of people with the ambitious goal of bringing people better health and well-being through the best possible sleep experience, aimed to be the leader in sleep. The product combines established expertise in creating comfortable, adjustable beds with the latest in sleep science, cutting-edge sensor technology, and data processing algorithms.
Requirements:
Experience & Education (Must Have)
- Extensive experience as a Lead Systems Engineer for IoT, medical devices or other complex systems.
- Demonstrated technical leadership of programs in a collaborative environment to propose, plan, estimate, organize and integrate Systems Engineering activities across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Demonstrated success in solving complex problems in broad domains of expertise.
- Comfortable with loosely defined problems, demonstrated ability to think clearly and draw upon various sources for ideas and solutions.
- Self-motivated and independently able to develop innovative approaches to diverse technical challenges and see them through to realization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related technical discipline.
Additional Desirable Experience (Nice to have)
- Ability to use model-based development (MBD) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and concepts to define functions and develop functional and performance requirements.
- Experience in Data Science.
- Experience designing and deploying signal processing and/or control systems algorithms.
- Ability to evaluate and test algorithms and systems in a simulation environment.
- Experience designing and executing experiments to identify significant factors efficiently. These experiments could be virtual (i.e., simulation) or live (i.e., physical prototypes).
- Experience with UX/UI design and Human Factors.
- Experience working in an Agile team environment.
- Demonstrated mentorship of others.

- Integrate Systems Engineering activities across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Contribute to the strategic R&D roadmap by exploring new design concepts and technologies.
- Be willing and able to act as the technical authority for the program.
- Apply your research and development skills to build real-world products and capabilities beyond purely academic or theoretical.
