Description

We are always looking for talented team members to help us to make it happen. In the beginning, we offer project work with the US-based telecom manufacturer with a strong foothold in the US. The project covers software development for telecom embedded systems in the area of GPON/XGSPON, OLT, Netconf/Yang. Modern technology stack and agile SCRUM methodology.
Requirements
– Ability to analyze and understand the Yang model of OLT and related documents and input provided by the client to understand how OLT must be configured to fulfill the use cases needed.
– Ability to understand the configuration and functionality of SDX OLT and compare/adapt to OLT, work out the difference, and guide the SW engineers to use the SDX OLT plugin as a blueprint and adapt to get a working OLT plugin that fulfills tech use cases.
– Ability to drive discussions with the client, and to get the needed knowledge to run the project successfully.
– Python knowledge, deep Netconf/Yang knowledge, knowledge about GPON/XGSPON services, test capabilities incl. test automation, understanding of SW development cycle incl. agile skills
– knowledge about GIT/GitHub, qTest, Atlassian JIRA/Confluence
– knowledge about configurating Docker containers, DPU configurating, Persistance server, Kafka
Job Responsibilities
Existing client with the old history of relations with GL, strong telco company working on EU and US market
Participate in product development, integration and testing
Writing high-performance / optimized code
Communication with customers
Participating in scrum meetings
