Description
The project will focus on the delivery of the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) on a multi-cloud native architecture. It will include the development of 3 golden APIs over an API Management platform (Apigee) including Tenancy Management over the API Layer. The 3 API implementations will be designed using Rate Limiting, Quotas, logging, and analytics aligned with non-functional requirements.
The MVP phase will include the design and implementation of 2 CI/CD Pipelines for the delivery of the GCP architecture, AWS Architecture, and the API Platform. The MVP phase will include a team to define API governance including the definition of the API Reference architecture & standards, the developer playbook, and initial logging, analytics, and monitoring.
Requirements
Mandatory> English Advanced Level.
> Product implementaiton experience.
Desireable> APIgee experience or similar.
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to support our Apigee implementation project.
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ensuring system observability, and optimizing the deployment processes. This role involves close collaboration with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration, high availability, and performance of our API management solutions.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on CI/CD pipelines and system observability.
Strong knowledge of Apigee, API management, and microservices architecture.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Job Responsibilities
CI/CD Pipeline Setup: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for the Apigee implementation project.
Automation: Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline the deployment and management of APIs.
System Observability: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the observability of the API ecosystem.
Infrastructure Management: Manage cloud infrastructure and resources to support the deployment and scaling of APIs.
Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of the Apigee platform and associated APIs.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes.
Security: Implement security best practices in CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to DevOps processes, tools, and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
