Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (IT, Telecom) preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position.
• Strong practical knowledge of OpenStack and VMWare as well as containerization and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Understanding of networking (routing, VPNs)
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and proficiency in CI/CD automation with relevant tooling (Jenkins, Ansible, Spinnaker).
• Proficiency in Bash and Python programming languages.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills in a highly collaborative team environment
• Advanced user level proficiency in Jira.
• Knowledge of telecom Core, OSS products and related infrastructure is a plus


Job Responsibilities

• Installation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting of Managed Telecom Network Management products, including OSS, virtual environments, orchestration, and containerized environments.
• OSS systems monitoring to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Developing Bash exporters for preparing and collecting metrics from Network Simulators, Virtual machines and nodes.
• Conducting audits of datacenters (PODs) belonging to Shared Clouds to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Planning, dimensioning and commissioning of Kubernetes environments tailored for specific applications such as OSS, Orchestrator, and RIC.
• Collection of server and service details automatization, integrating this data into Hydra for efficient asset management as a part of IT Asset Management Automation (ITAM)
• Establishing internal monitoring systems for Shared Cloud OSS infrastructure to maintain system health and performance.
• CD automation pipelines developing using Jenkins for the installation and upgrade of telco products, including OSS, Orchestrator, and Kubernetes.
• Elaboration on Access Management System (AMS), a self-service portal with main purpose to allow users order and manage their account on Shared Cloud systems.
• Performing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery maintenance for different OSS product realizations like Cloud OSS, Virtual OSS and RIC on Shared Cloud environments.
• Document findings, propose preventive measures, and actively contribute to refining incident response protocols.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including technical teams, management, and customers, ensuring timely updates on incident status and resolution progress.
