As a Billing System Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our client billing system. You will be responsible for validating data using SQL queries, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and providing support to internal teams regarding billing-related inquiries. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of our billing processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives.


  • Experience with Jira and Agile methodology.
  • Billing systems experience.
  • Excellent communication skills – will be a liaison with our business partners.
  • SQL server query capability – able to query, understand, and explain data pulled from systems.
  • PowerBI (not a must-have but nice to have).

Job Responsibilities

  • Validate billing data using SQL queries and other tools to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies in billing data, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to internal stakeholders regarding billing inquiries and issues, serving as a subject matter expert on billing processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and software development teams to implement enhancements and improvements to the billing system.
  • Document processes, procedures, and best practices related to billing system support and validation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in billing systems and processes, recommending and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
