She oversees hundreds of R&amp;D projects that are being developed for the telecommunications, media, healthcare, and technology sectors out of GlobalLogic&#8217;s Ukraine engineering centers in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Kateryna Hubaryeva (<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Associate Vice President, Head of People) <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">has over 17 years of experience in HR \u2014 13 of which are in the IT industry. In her role, Kateryna develops and implements strategies for talent management and retention. She also creates <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">support and development programs for GlobalLogic&#8217;s engineers and managers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"external nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/dou.ua\/lenta\/articles\/it-woman-2020\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to DOU<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the number of women in the IT industry increased from 20% to 25% in 2017-2020. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This trend is also observed in relation to management-level positions. At GlobalLogic Ukraine, women own 40% of the associate vice president roles, and the company actively promotes gender diversity in the workplace.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5>About the Ranking<\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Forbes ranking includes 25 Ukrainian women who have founded or hold senior positions in technology companies. The editorial board selected businesses and candidates of various formats and competencies.
