Requirements

“ERP System Proficiency: Strong, hands-on experience utilizing a major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (e.g., Oracle,) for journal entry processing, report generation, and GL maintenance.Month-End Close Execution: Demonstrated technical expertise in performing all aspects of the monthly close, including preparing and posting complex, high-volume journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
Advanced Reconciliation Skills: Proven ability to prepare and review detailed, complex balance sheet account reconciliations (e.g., fixed assets, deferred revenue, accrued expenses, cash accounts) and investigate/resolve variances independently.
US GAAP Knowledge: Solid technical understanding and application of $US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)$, particularly related to software revenue recognition ($ASC 606$) and capitalizing internal-use software costs.
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Competency in extracting GL data and using advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) to create supporting schedules, perform variance analysis, and assist in preparing financial statements”

Job responsibilities

Manage the financial health of our client implementation and professional services projects. This mid-level role is essential for accurate project profitability tracking, revenue recognition, and cost management. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up projects, managing budgets, billing milestones, and performing deep analysis and reconciliation of project costs and revenue. This position requires a strong grasp of project-based accounting principles and excellent collaboration skills to partner with our Professional Services and Sales teams.
