Description

We are developing an interface into motor partner personal insurance for one of the largest UK insurance companies listed on the London Stock Exchange. We are building our system using a combination of modern Front-end technologies, microservices architecture, proven integration patterns and AWS Cloud.

As a part of our team in Poland, you will work together with customer’s international multi-functional agile delivery team. The scope of work is back-end development focused on implementation, testing and maintenance of new features and legacy code base, in particular full policy management cycle including: invoicing, payment intents and chasing, pricing, amendments, premium overrides, policy renewals and cancellations.

Requirements

Hands on the following tech:

• Programming: Python 3.9, pytest, behave, boto3, IDE: VSCode
• AWS: API Gateway, CLI, Console, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, EventBridge, IAM, Lambda, SAM, Secrets Manager, Step Functions, Systems Manager),
• REST APIs: Stripe, Rapid7, Swagger/OpenAPI 3.x
• Source control: Git, BitBucket
• Code review/analysis (Bitbucket, Codacy)
• Issue and project tracking (JIRA, Confluence, Miro)
• Communicative English for daily interaction with the customer

 

Job responsibilities

• Produce and maintain clean Python code
• Contribute to application architecture – design and build
• Building & improving software and services through CI/CD pipelines
• Discuss and implement security protocols within software and services
• Take part in sprint planning and estimate development efforts for features and stories, as well as participate in Code Review process
