“GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely within the USA to be $110K to $120K and reflects base salary only and does not include additional performance-linked variable compensation, benefits etc that may be applicable for the role. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.

Requirements

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience
  • OR Master’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • OR PhD along with 3 years of relevant experience

 

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Demonstrated strength in product approach with a track record in estimating timelines, collaborating with interested parties, and prioritizing products
  • Working experience with AWS services, particularly serverless architectures (S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway) supporting API development in a microservices architecture
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Experience with Terraform and Django framework
  • Familiarity with data formats such as JSON, Protobuf, Avro, XML
  • Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK, Dynatrace, Prometheus
  • Expertise with git commands and associated VCS (GitLab, GitHub, Gitea)
  • Experience in documentation as code for crafting technical documentation

 

Desired/preferred qualifications
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Prior background in the healthcare sector
  • Working knowledge and experience implementing healthcare data exchange solutions with FHIR and HL7v2 standards
  • FHIR and/or HL7 Certifications
  • Experience in building software classified as Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
  • Understanding of EHR technologies such as EPIC, Cerner
  • Experience implementing enterprise-grade cybersecurity and privacy by building into software products
  • Experience developing global applications
  • Strong understanding of SDLC – Waterfall & Agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in software estimation
  • Experience leading software development teams onshore and offshore

Job responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports development and execution of the organization’s cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including building, planning, integration, maintenance, and support of cloud architecture.
  • Works with team members throughout the organization to assess cloud systems and find suitable solutions
  • Manages end-to-end project activities, including planning, delivery, client interaction, troubleshooting, and implementation support
  • Drives the application of principles, theories, and concepts based on the Cloud Stack and determines the best course of action
  • Assesses opportunities for application and process improvement and prepares documentation to share with team members and other affected parties
  • Requires sound technical knowledge combined with a reasonable understanding of business issues
