Description
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
6+ years of experience in data engineering with an emphasis on data analytics and reporting.
4+ years of experience with at least one of the following cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
3+ years of experience with scripting languages Python/PySpark, SQL, Kafka
6+ years of experience in SQL, data transformations, statistical analysis, and troubleshooting across more than one Database Platform (Snowflake, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Azure Synapse, etc.)
4+ years of experience in any Relational, MPP Columnar and No-SQL Databases
6+ years of experience in the design and build of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes thru data pipelines.
3+ years of experience designing and building solutions utilizing various Cloud services such as Databricks, S3, EMR, Kinesis, Snowflake, API gateway, etc.
Experience working with agile development methodologies such as Sprint and Scrum.
Experience in Quicksight is a bonus
Job Responsibilities
Gather and evaluate client’s business needs and priorities in their analytics and data platform management.
Act as liaison with technology and key business partners
Translate business requirements into technical specifications; establish and
define details, definitions, and requirements of applications, components and enhancements.
Take part in project planning; identifying milestones, deliverables and resource requirements; tracks activities and task execution.
Design and Develop data pipelines / APIs using Python, PySpark and SQL on Databricks/AWS Cloud
Have an analytical, data/metadata-driven mindset to drive and understand business and monitor cloud resources health.
Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines with data processing frameworks in AWS cloud
