Learning and Development Director, Americas

Requirements

Leading and implementing training and development initiatives for our team of software engineers and others, focusing on their professional and technical growth and development. This role will have responsibilities across the Americas region of GlobalLogic, including Argentina, Chile, Mexico, USA and Canada.

Must be bilingual in Spanish and English languages

Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline; higher level qualifications desirable

 


Job Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise, instructional design, and facilitation for our core courses.
  • Fulfilling all training logistics and collecting training materials/records.
  • Searching for external and internal trainers.
  • Consulting trainers on training workflow.
  • Preparing training schedule and collecting training registration and feedback.
  • Builds a strong business relationship with the internal client.
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes necessary to cover risks.
  • Coordination of cross-functional projects (PR, People Development, Delivery)
  • Global HR initiatives localization.
  • Data analysis providing specific reports.
  • Conducting educational training and specific workshops, orientation sessions.
  • Identifying and developing high potential employees and career/development plans.
