Description
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Proficient in Python including PYQT5, MVC framework, Github, Git commands, branching strategies
- Develop code based on functional specifications through understanding of product code
- Test code to verify it meets the technical specifications and is working as intended, before submitting to code review
- Experience in writing testcase in python by using Pytest
- Follow prescribed standards and processes as applicable to software development methodology, including planning, work estimation, solution demos, and reviews
- Assist and contribute to peer code reviews
- Read and understand basic software requirements
- Assist with the implementation of a delivery pipeline, including test automation, security, and performance
- Assist with team or product documentation
- Assist in troubleshooting and responding to production issues to ensure the stability of the application
- Experience in working with APIs
Must Have:
- 5-7 yrs experience in Python
- Proficient in Python including PYQT5, MVC framework, Github, Git commands, branching strategies
- CI/CD pipeline
- Knowledge of Docker commands, AWS/Azure/GCP
- Can provide suggestions for performance improvements, strategy, etc.
- Architecture experience
- Experience in designing and developing Automation scripts
- Expertise in object-oriented design and multi-threaded programming
- Experince on MAC, Windows and Linux
Good to have:
