Description

We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable solutions that extend the
Salesforce platform.
You will translate business requirements into robust, secure, and efficient code – supporting automation,
integrations, and analytics across Commercial, Product, Finance, and Marketing functions. The ideal candidate
combines hands-on Salesforce development expertise with strong data integration and system architecture
knowledge, ensuring long-term scalability and low technical debt.

Requirements

5–8 years’ experience in Salesforce development (Sales Cloud essential; Apex, LWC, and API integration
expertise required).
Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I (Developer II or equivalent advanced credential preferred).
Proficient in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, REST/SOAP APIs, and asynchronous
processing.
Experience with DevOps practices (SFDX, Git-based deployment, CI/CD pipelines).
Strong understanding of data models, schema design, and integration frameworks (Fivetran, MuleSoft,
Atlan, BigQuery).
Familiarity with Salesforce security, governor limits, and performance optimisation techniques.
Proven experience collaborating within agile teams using JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Development

Develop high-quality, reusable Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWCs).
Extend and optimise existing functionality using modern Salesforce frameworks and APIs.
Collaborate with Product Analysts and Admins to translate user stories into technical specifications.
Balance declarative and programmatic solutions to ensure maintainability and scalability.
Integration & Data Architecture

Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems (e.g. NetSuite, HubSpot, Slack,
Atlan, Fivetran, BigQuery).
Design and implement secure API solutions using REST, SOAP, and platform events.
Support ETL and data orchestration pipelines, ensuring schema alignment and data integrity.
Partner with Data and Infrastructure teams to maintain clean, efficient, and documented data models.
Testing, Deployment & DevOps

Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and coverage.
Manage deployments through DevOps or metadata tools (Change Sets, SFDX, Git, or equivalent).
Collaborate with Admins to coordinate sandbox refreshes, UAT testing, and production releases.
Troubleshoot performance, integration, and scalability issues across environments.
Platform Governance & Documentation

Maintain clear technical documentation – class structures, integration diagrams, release notes.
Participate in architectural reviews and ensure adherence to governance standards.
Provide input into roadmap decisions on refactoring, system upgrades, and new feature adoption.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Work closely with Product, Commercial, and Data teams to deliver high-impact features.
Mentor junior technical staff and support best-practice development within the team.
Stay up to date with Salesforce platform releases, APIs, and emerging tools that drive efficiency.
