We have a couple new logos that are joining GlobalLogic soon, and the request will be to take a lead some of them or all.

Our potential engagements will be in a domain of Artificial Intelligence, where we should develop smart systems for amusement parks and an Application Console that should allow to manage all Cloud services and resources in the shell scripting environment.


We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Engineering Project Manager with a proven track record in technical project management. The ideal candidate will possess:

– A minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience, including at least 4-5 years in a management capacity. Experience in managing a team of 30-40 people directly or overseeing 2-3 accounts concurrently is essential.

– A strong academic foundation, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, is highly desirable.

– In-depth technical domain knowledge, preferably in Machine Learning or Coud, paired with a solid understanding of key technologies relevant to these domains.

– Significant experience in pre-sales activities with a keen interest in advancing in this area. Familiarity with NDA/MSA/SOW legal frameworks and practical experience in drafting these documents is required.

– A robust grasp of modern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, management principles, and techniques. Demonstrated ability in establishing and adapting project processes, identifying and mitigating risks, understanding financial implications, and swiftly addressing challenges.

– Possession of a PMP or related certification is highly advantageous.

– The role demands a high degree of autonomy, versatility, and proactivity. A strong focus on delivering results. A commitment to fulfilling obligations and the willingness to take initiative are crucial.

– Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills are essential. Advanced proficiency in English for business and technical contexts is required.

– Knowledge of Japanese language will be a huge advantage! Previous experience in collaborating with Japanese clients will significantly enhance your candidacy.

– The capability and readiness to undertake business travel will be considered a significant asset.


Job Responsibilities

Engineering Manager who will be responsible for program development on one hand and supporting the day-to-day project planning and execution on the other. This position will include driving technical leadership, project planning and management reporting, as well as business development.

– New Program setup and leading, oversee project planning and execution, aligning with strategic objectives and maintaining operational efficiency.

– Support business development by contributing technical expertise to aid business growth initiatives. Develop and uphold solutions that align with the company’s roadmap and stakeholder requirements.

– Collaborate with teams for pre-sales efforts, including technical estimations and developing company offerings.

– Manage multiple engagements, demonstrating adeptness in multitasking. Work with the Product Manager on product development, focusing on backlog refinement and risk analysis. Manage resources and dependencies effectively, ensuring smooth project execution and performance tracking.

– Handle team management and HR functions, encompassing goal setting, development planning, and HR-related responsibilities.
