80.000€ Investment in the Modernization of the Cluj-Napoca Blood Transfusion Center

 
GlobalLogic and the Beard Brothers association announce the renovation and equipping of a room within the Blood Transfusion Center in Cluj-Napoca. Thanks to the opening of this new room, donor flow is also expected to increase, which means more lives saved and a greater capacity to respond to the community’s medical needs.

The room, which had been out of service for more than 20 years, was fully renovated and equipped with modern equipment, including two donation chairs and two hemo-mixers – essential devices for the safety and efficiency of the donation process. The new room, covering more than 100 square meters, nearly double the size of the previous space, is directly connected to the main transfusion area and offers easy access for both donor reception and exit, thus optimizing donor flow.

The total value of the donation amounts to €80,000. This covered renovation costs, the purchase of modern medical equipment and furniture, as well as vouchers for manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, distributed to donors to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

Through this initiative, our partners understood the urgent need of the transfusion system for modern spaces and high-performance equipment designed to offer donors comfort and safety at high standards. The generosity of our partners helps us save lives. Every donor deserves excellent conditions, and every new piece of equipment means additional chances for those in need of blood. Over time, our partners have invested €80,000 in the renovation of the donation room and the purchase of medical equipment.
