At the 12th edition of the “IT Industry Excellence Awards”, organized by the Romanian Employers’ Association of the Software and Services Industry (ANIS), GlobalLogic Romania was proud to receive the top distinction in the “Software Project of the Year” category. This recognition was awarded for the development and implementation of a unified contracting platform for the aftersales division of a leading German luxury automotive OEM – a project that demonstrates excellence in execution, vision, and real business impact.

GlobalLogic’s award-winning project addressed a massive enterprise challenge: replacing a fragmented landscape of 12 legacy, tightly coupled systems with a single, future-ready infrastructure.

Through a dedicated team of over 60 specialists assembled in under two months, GlobalLogic redesigned and rebuilt the entire contracting infrastructure within 18 months. Key outcomes of the project include:

• Global Standardization: Established a single source of truth for service contracts across all global markets.
• Massive Scale: The platform currently serves over 10 million users worldwide, with an estimated 2 million new users joining annually.
• High Financial Value: The system processes and manages a very large contract portfolio.
• Operational Efficiency: Drastically lowered overhead by replacing 12 fragmented systems with one governed environment, making support and managed services more cost-effective.

The project’s success transformed a collaborative effort into a testament of trust. While GlobalLogic initially comprised 65% of the workforce, the client ultimately transferred full project ownership to GlobalLogic.
