GlobalLogic is proud to announce that its internal well-being and engagement program, the Moving Challenge, has been recognized as a top-tier initiative at the Employer Brand Management Awards 2025 Gala. The program received the Bronze Award in the “Best Employee Wellbeing Initiative” category at the prestigious event held in London. This regional recognition highlights our dedication to creating a supportive and healthy workplace while also making a positive impact on our team, the wider community, and the planet.
The 10th edition of the awards, organized by Cravenhill Publishing and Communicate Magazine, showcased a highly competitive landscape this year. There was over a 50% increase in participation from European companies and nearly a 25% rise in entries compared to last year.
“We are deeply honored that our Moving Challenge program has been recognized as one of the Best Employee Wellbeing Initiatives in Europe”. said Crina Ilie, Senior Vice President and HR Leader for the EMEA Region. “This award underscores GlobalLogic’s commitment to nurturing a people-first culture – for our employees and clients alike – which leads to a better future for people and the world around us. What makes this program truly special is our colleagues’ openness to step in and embrace the moving challenge year after year. Their dedication has been the driving force behind its growth, and I’m deeply grateful for their unwavering commitment. This recognition is a celebration of every step taken, every bike ride, and every helping hand along the way.”
About Moving Challenge
The Moving Challenge is a 6-month internal employee wellbeing and engagement program that focuses on building healthy habits while making a positive impact on society and the planet. Participants use an internal app to track outdoor activities like walking, running, and cycling, syncing their progress with platforms such as Strava and Sports Tracker. The program converts kilometers into points using a gamified system that encourages consistent, daily activity over irregular high-performance efforts.
Originally created at Fortech (now GlobalLogic Romania) in 2018, the program was inspired by employees and has continuously evolved through their feedback. Following Fortech’s integration with GlobalLogic, the initiative expanded to eight countries in the EMEA region for its 2025 edition: Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Croatia, Sweden, Germany, Ukraine, and the UK&I. With nearly 1,000 participants to date, the program has collectively logged over 740,000 kilometers, contributing to a reduction of over 150 tonnes of CO2 emissions by encouraging alternative transportation.
