Roxana Gaciu, member of the EMEA People Experience and Diverse Perspectives team, is a living example of this philosophy. She doesn’t just develop engagement strategies, she tests them directly as an Ambassador, crafting a culture that resonates deeply with our colleagues nationwide.
For me, the Employee Ambassadors Program has always felt like more than just an initiative. It’s a space where we all have the chance to make a real impact, connect with one another, and foster a true sense of belonging across the organization.
I decided to join because I’m genuinely passionate about enhancing the employee experience and wanted to contribute in ways beyond my day-to-day role. Being part of this community allows me to collaborate with amazing people, share ideas, and play a small part in shaping the culture we all thrive in.
Being part of the EMEA People Experience and Diverse Perspectives team, I focus on creating initiatives that truly enhance engagement and belonging. Since my work is all about improving the employee experience, joining the Ambassadors Program felt like a natural extension of what I do. It gives me the chance to connect even more with colleagues and ensure their voices are heard in everything we do.
I feel the Ambassadors Program has given me the chance to grow, improving my communication and collaboration skills while connecting more meaningfully with colleagues across the organization. It’s also given me new perspectives on what employees value most, which I can apply in my daily work. On a personal level, it’s been incredibly rewarding to see how small actions can positively impact others.
The team spirit within the program is truly collaborative and supportive, and everyone shares the same goal: to make our workplace better. What keeps us motivated is seeing the real impact of our initiatives and knowing that, together, we can create a stronger sense of belonging across the organization.
We keep colleagues engaged by creating activities that are relevant, inclusive, and fun. Activities that bring people together and reflect their interests. I also asked two colleagues who are very active in the program, and they shared similar thoughts:
Ela: “In our community, we focus on diversity in initiatives precisely because our colleagues are diverse; they have different interests, passions, and even generational backgrounds. For example, the Anime Night in Cluj-Napoca brings together over 20 colleagues, mostly from Generation Z. On the other hand, Board Game Nights are enjoyed across generations, with sessions reaching over 30 participants. For Millennial colleagues, sports activities are especially popular. That’s why our internal wellbeing initiative, the Moving Challenge for example, has been remarkably successful with over 300 participants from Romania and 1000+ in total.

Andreea: “As an Employee Ambassador, I keep colleagues engaged by having open communication, involving diverse colleagues, and making activities fun and meaningful. The first event felt a bit awkward, the second one was more relaxed, and by the third, it genuinely felt like I was sitting at a table with friends! One standout example was our LaserTag night. It was a huge success! We had 20 participants, which at the time meant 20% of the entire Bucharest location! What an amazing night!”
Since the Ambassadors Program thrives on cross-city collaboration, my colleagues shared some excellent examples of national success:
Ela: “The most recent collaboration was a Padel event in Cluj, where seven colleagues from Oradea joined. Another example of national collaboration was Spooky Halloween Day, organized last year by Ambassadors from all over the country. We had an online quiz, decorations, and a pumpkin syrup idea to recreate the famous Pumpkin Spice Latte. And of course, I can’t forget the Online Yoga Classes we organized with an instructor from Cluj. We had participants from all over the country, and everyone started their day with a more relaxed mind and body.”

I can tell you that in GlobalLogic you are encouraged to bring ideas forward, get involved in meaningful projects, and grow beyond your role. Programs like the Employee Ambassadors give everyone the chance to represent the company, connect with others, and make a real impact on our culture and community.
