In addition it provides a broad range of service offerings, including technical support and advanced services.
The current project focuses on developing and maintaining advanced network simulation and automation platforms that enable testing and validation of enterprise-scale networking solutions. The engineering team is responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing virtual network environments to support innovation, scalability, and high system reliability.

Requirements

Must have requirements:

– 4+ years of experience in network engineering and design, with practical expertise in Cisco-based and virtualized network environments.
– Understanding of Cisco Enterprise Networking fundamentals.
– Hands-on experience with Python and REST APIs for automation of environment setup, configuration, and integration workflows.
– Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible.
– Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies (Docker, VMs) for building and managing virtual environments.

Nice to have:

– Experience with Cisco Modeling Labs (CML) or other network simulation tools such as EVE-NG / GNS3.
– Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center), Meraki controllers, and Cisco Catalyst 9000 series switches.
– Experience developing automation workflows using REST APIs, Ansible, and Git-based version control.
– Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools or LLMs to accelerate development and troubleshooting tasks.
– Analytical mindset and strong troubleshooting skills across network, infrastructure, and automation layers.
– Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a cross-functional, distributed team environment.

Job responsibilities

– Design, deploy, and manage Cisco Modeling Labs (CML) environments for virtualized network simulation and digital twin testing.
– Automate lab setup and configuration using Python scripts and CML APIs.
– Use Ansible and REST APIs to automate network configuration and routine lab operations.
– Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with Terraform or similar tools to make setups repeatable and easy to manage.
– Utilize AI tools and LLMs to accelerate testing, validation, and troubleshooting tasks.
– Collaborate with other engineers to design and test virtual network topologies based on real Cisco customer environments.
– Troubleshoot connectivity and automation issues in virtual lab environments.
– Keep technical documentation and templates up to date for internal use.
