Requirements

Must-Have Skills
● Hands-on Experience working with Progress OOABL, Progress IDE
● Hands-on Experience working with MFG Pro, Progress 4GL
● Hands-on Experience working with scripting language like type script, java script
● Design, code, test, and maintain software applications using Progres Advanced
Business Language.
● Read/Write Database queries, stored procedures and functions in relational databases.
● Hands-on with any ORM (Object Relational Model) tool.
● Work closely with cross-functional teams, including analysts, designers, and other
developers.
● Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications.
● Perform code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.
● Hands-on experience with any application server

● Basic Linux knowledge
● SVN
● General Java/Object Oriented development

Job responsibilities

As a Progress 4GL/ ABL developer, you will be a part of:

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements and specifications

– Develop and maintain high-quality Progress 4 GL applications

– Ensure the successful implementation of software solutions

– Perform rigorous testing to guarantee flawless performance

– Troubleshoot and resolve software issues promptly

– Consistently follow coding standards and guidelines

– Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers

– Continuously evaluate and improve existing systems for efficient performance
