Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated CI/CD Engineer with strong architectural capabilities to design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps pipelines for C++-based automotive software projects targeting embedded hardware platforms. This role is critical to ensuring seamless integration, testing, and deployment within a secure and hardware-compatible infrastructure.

Requirements

Experience: 6 to 12 years
Location: Bangalore and Pune

Must Have Skills: Automotive Domain with CI/CD Devops, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Azure Cloud, GIT/Gerrit, Ansible / Terraform /Prometheus/ Grafana/ TypeScript/ ReactJS

Technical Skills:

− Proven experience in CI/CD architecture and operations for C++ projects, ideally within automotive or embedded systems domains
− Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and platforms: Git/Gerrit, Python, Docker, Linux, Kubernetes, Azure, Ansible, Terraform.
− Experience with secure DevOps practices: identity and access management (IAM), artifact signing, vulnerability scanning, and confidential asset management
− Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability: Prometheus, Grafana.
− Proficiency with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
− Knowledge of frontend frameworks (TypeScript, ReactJS)

Job responsibilities

− The Senior DevOps/CI Engineer will be leading the development, maintenance, and evolution of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) infrastructure supporting the Android Infotainment platform and related hardware systems used in vehicles.
− The role includes establishing CI/CD solutions for C++- based automotive software projects with hardware-in-the-loop testing, ensuring secure, reliable, and automated delivery pipelines.
− Architect, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for C++-based automotive software with embedded hardware targets.
− Automate and manage build, integration, test, and deployment workflows, ensuring compatibility with hardware test rigs, ECUs, and infotainment units.
− Maintain security best practices across CI/CD infrastructure, including access control, confidential asset management and secure artifact storage.
− Collaborate with software developers, system architects, infrastructure engineers, and electronics/hardware teams to align pipeline design with development and hardware integration needs.
− Manage the setup, configuration, and continuous operation of the CI lab, supporting automated validation on real hardware.
− Lead DevOps and infrastructure improvements with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and traceability.
− Support audits, compliance efforts, and incident response related to DevOps toolchains and infrastructure security.
Deliverables:
− Secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines tailored for C++ automotive software and embedded hardware integration
− Automated test and validation execution on target hardware within CI lab environment
− Documentation of pipeline architecture, infrastructure security posture, and operational procedures
− Hardening measures and configurations ensuring CI/CD security compliance
− Performance optimization reports, incident logs, and improvement backlogs
− Technical support, mentoring, and knowledge sharing with internal development teams
