As a Solution Specialist in Cybersecurity, you will play a critical role in developing technically sound, client-centric solutions across our cybersecurity portfolio. You will work with clients, sales teams, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate business and security requirements into actionable solutions and proposals. This position requires good technical understanding, critical thinking, and the ability to balance technical feasibility with client expectations.
You will be actively participate in the development of fit-for-purpose security solutions, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements, technical constraints, and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years in cybersecurity, including experience in pre-sales, solution scoping, or technical consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity domains: GRC, Security Monitoring (SIEM/SOAR), Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, and MSS.
  • Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM/ticketing systems for pre-sales workflows.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel regionally (~25%)

Preferred Asset Qualifications

  • Knowledge of European and international cybersecurity frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIS2, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
  • Familiarity with PCI-DSS and protection of online financial transactions.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or similar)

 

Job responsibilities

  • Customer Discovery & Engagement:

Meet with clients, partners and prospects to understand cybersecurity needs across their IT/OT environments in all domains (GRC, Security Architecture, Pentesting, CTI, Privacy, Incident Response and MSS).
Conduct discovery workshops to understand their current security posture, regulatory obligations (e.g., NIS2, GDPR, PCI-DSS), and business drivers.
Ask probing technical and strategic questions to shape solution design (e.g., security controls, toolsets, team structures, cloud/on-prem environments).
Capture and document customer requirements, pain points, and desired outcomes.

  • Solution Scoping & Coordination:

Work with Sales, Partners, and Subject Matter Experts to define solutions that combine 24/7 managed security services and cybersecurity advisory services, bridging the gap between sales and SMEs.
Leverage your cybersecurity background to ensure solutions are both technically
appropriate and aligned with business goals.
Evaluate technical feasibility and challenge proposed solutions where necessary to avoid overpromising or under-scoping.
Develop high-level architectures, integration approaches, and service models for client environments

  • Ticket & CRM Management:

Use HubSpot and other platforms to manage pre-sales activity, track customer engagements, assign tasks, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the deal lifecycle.

  • Proposal & Financial Input:

Work with SMEs to produce scoping documents and pricing estimates to support business proposal development.
Contribute technical input for proposals, SOWs, and presentations that align with customer needs and compliance standards.
Meet and shepherd solution meetings with partners, making sure to understand the current and future opportunities and work towards proposing a solution or producing documents to support initiatives.
Confidently present and defend proposed solutions to both technical and business audiences.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Sales, Partners, and SMEs to ensure proposed solutions reflect company’s best practices and meet client needs.
Act as the technical conscience of the deal – ensuring solutions are viable and can be delivered successfully.

  • Market Engagement:

Represent the Client at industry events, client meetings, and partner workshops to stay current on trends and gather insights.
Support lead generation through demos, scoping sessions, and client-facing technical discussions.
