Description

Software Architects design high quality software systems and architectures that are maintainable, reusable, robust, scalable, understandable, etc and document it properly. They have a deep understanding of software engineering, design methods, architecture patterns, technologies, frameworks and tools for software development – especially for embedded systems. They communicate frequently and proactively with different stakeholders and have a good understanding of their needs. They have a clear mindset that the software architecture is based on product requirements and eases the product development. Software Architects make decisions that have a big impact to later software development phases. They communicate software architecture decisions and guide Software Engineers through the implementation of solutions.

Requirements

Experience creating products with start of development to start of production, familiar with production-related topics
Knowledge of software engineering
Practical knowledge of architecture concepts (e.g. architecture frameworks, design patterns, standards, quality attributes, etc.)
Practical experience in various coding paradigms (e.g. functional, object-oriented) and programming languages
Experienced in design and modelling (UML)
Deep knowledge of technologies and platforms for embedded systems
Good communication, marketing and negotiation skills
Consulting skills
Experience with RTOS based development (preferably Zephyr)
Experience with connectivity and UI development
Security / Encryption: basic knowledge
Writing requirements and architectural documentation

Nice to have
Familiar with HomeConnect
General Home Appliance know-how or even domain knowledge
