Requirements

5 – 8 years’ experience administering complex Salesforce environments (Sales Cloud essential; Service or
CPQ exposure desirable).
Certified Salesforce Administrator (Advanced Admin preferred).
Proven expertise with declarative tools – Flows, Validation Rules, Record Types, Dynamic Forms, and
Lightning App Builder.
Experience managing multi-environment setups (Full/Partial sandboxes, DevOps pipelines).
Familiarity with data integration tools and ETL concepts (e.g. Fivetran, MuleSoft, Atlan, BigQuery).
Strong understanding of Salesforce security model and profile/permission architecture.
Hands-on experience with release management and metadata deployment tools (Change Sets, Gearset,
or similar).
Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams and mentoring junior admins or analysts.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Configuration

Own day-to-day administration of Salesforce, including user management, profiles, roles, permission
sets, and security controls.
Design and maintain declarative automations (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Assignment
Rules).
Implement scalable page layouts, record types, and Lightning App customisations.
Manage environment strategy (Production, Full/Partial Sandboxes, UAT) and ensure safe, auditable
deployments.
System Governance & Best Practice

Enforce Salesforce governance standards – naming conventions, documentation, change control, and
version tracking.
Conduct regular audits of field usage, automation logic, and metadata to prevent bloat and technical
debt.
Maintain platform documentation, system maps, and configuration logs in Confluence or equivalent
repositories.
Champion declarative-first design and partner with Developers only when code is the most efficient
path.
Data Quality & Integration Support

Partner with Product Analysts and Developers to maintain clean, reliable data models.
Implement validation and deduplication frameworks using native tools and data management platforms
(e.g. Fivetran, Atlan).
Support data migration and enrichment efforts across CRM, ERP, and marketing systems (e.g. HubSpot,

NetSuite, Slack, Gong).
Monitor integration performance and help troubleshoot sync or schema issues.
Release Management & Testing

Oversee release cycle management – from sandbox build to UAT and production deployment.
Use DevOps or metadata deployment tools (Change Sets, Gearset, Copado, or equivalent).
Coordinate user acceptance testing, track bugs, and document post-release improvements.
Ensure rollback and contingency procedures are in place for all major releases.
Training, Enablement & Support

Act as the first line of technical support for end-user issues and requests.
Deliver hands-on training sessions and create guides that improve adoption and reduce admin overhead.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical direction for continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Monitor platform metrics (usage, automation errors, API calls) to identify improvement opportunities.
Recommend process automations and simplifications that enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.
Stay current with Salesforce releases and introduce relevant new capabilities where justified by business
value.
What Success Looks Like

Stable, scalable Salesforce org with clean data and predictable release cadence.
Reduced admin burden through automation and structured governance.
Strong internal documentation, audit readiness, and consistent adherence to change control.
Junior admins and business users upskilled through coaching and enablement.
Platform enhancements delivered safely, on time, and aligned to business priorities.
