Requirements

Minimum 6+ years of experience.

Strong working knowledge of DO-200B, ICAO standards, and aviation data governance principles.

Hands-on expertise in:
Large Language Models (LLMs) and NLP for regulated text.
Prompt engineering for structured, deterministic outputs.
Schema-driven data extraction and normalization.

LLMs and prompt engineering for structured data extraction.

Processing PDFs and unstructured regulatory documents.

Python-based AI and NLP pipelines.

Advanced Python with production-grade standards

Secondary language (Java or C++) for performance-critical systems

Advanced SQL with optimization and database design knowledge

ETL/ELT workflow architecture and optimization

Feature engineering, preprocessing, and data quality management

 

Experience designing AI workflows with traceability, auditability, and human-in-the-loop validation
Ability to translate regulatory and compliance requirements into practical AI system designs
Strong collaboration skills with platform, data engineering, quality, and domain expert teams

Familiarity with ARINC data standards and aeronautical data models
Experience supporting audits, certification, or independent verification and validation (IV&V) activities
Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI, and model risk management frameworks
Working understanding of enterprise Java platforms (Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA) and API-based integrations
Proficiency in SQL/T-SQL for data validation and quality analysis
AI, ML, or prompt-engineering certifications (e.g., LLM, NLP, Responsible AI, or equivalent industry certifications)

 

Work close and engage with project support teams
Bachelor’s degree or higher in relation to work experience

Job responsibilities

Develops, maintains and implements software code by utilizing software development programming languages tools in defined environments that adheres to allocated requirements and design. Participates in internal code walkthroughs.
-Develops automated unit test procedures and scripts needed to complete development rigor requirements.
Develops/decomposes, documents and maintains designs for software implementation artifacts consistent with the defined architecture and requirements/regulations by applying established methods and practices. Participates in internal lifecycle data reviews.
-Contributes to software requirement definition and verification activities.
With general direction, provides data, recommendations, and estimates for software component level project planning including corrective action plans. Coordinates and participates in project management reviews and compliance audits.
Troubleshoots and investigates difficult problems across software components. Evaluates proposed solutions to problems.
For all phases of the software life cycle contributes as directed towards: develops, selects, tailors and deploys processes and tools; establishes metrics; and utilizes regulations and industry standards. Participates in process reviews.
With general direction, provides guidance to less experienced employees, performs research, contributes to proposals, documents research and development results and aids technology transfer into programs.
– As directed and able to provides subject matter expertise on software techniques, methodologies and processes to customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel. Provides guidance to less experienced engineers. Supports operational and integration issue resolution of regulatory, domain and specific software systems.
