Requirements

Build and Maintain Infrastructure Design implement and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure supporting mission critical communication services

 

Job responsibilities

Build and Maintain Infrastructure Design implement and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure supporting mission critical communication services

Optimize Deployment Pipelines Develop and maintain CICD pipelines that enable rapid reliable software deployments

Automate Infrastructure Implement Infrastructure as Code IaC practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to streamline provisioning and configuration

Monitor Improve Reliability Use observability platforms to monitor system performance availability and reliability

Strengthen System Resilience Improve redundancy fault tolerance and disaster recovery strategies across infrastructure

Manage Containerized Environments Support containerized applications and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes

Implement Security Best Practices Ensure infrastructure and deployment pipelines follow modern security standards

Solid understanding of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals including TCPIP DNS and load balancing

Advanced level experience and expertise with Kubernetes Helm Charts Argo CD and Git

Experience with code scanning tools like Fortify and Black Duck

Test connectivity between endpoints for services to from the OpenShift platform to validate firewall connectivity both preprod and prod either manually or via automated jobs

Update config maps secrets routes services or other K8S OpenShift objects both preprod and prod manually or via automated job

Update Renew certs for objects on container platform eg ingress certs route certs wild card certs etc both preprod and prod either manually or via automated jobs

Familiarity with F5 products including TMM F5 Container Ingress Services CIS and F5 Custom Resource Definitions CRDs

Proactively leverage AI technologies to streamline workflows simplify processes and enhance overall efficiency

At least 5 years of Kafka administration experience ideally with the Confluent platform

Demonstrated expertise in Kafka upgrades and production troubleshooting

Experience with OpenShift OCP deployments and containerized middleware

Confluent Kafka brokers topics ACLs Connect Schema Registry

Deploy and manage Kafka on OpenShift OCP and or AWS

Implement monitoring alerting and troubleshoot performance issues

Participate in 247 oncall rotation to respond to incidents alerts and escalations
