Due to intensive growth, GlobalLogic Automotive department is glad to invite Project Test Manager to an Automotive project.
The project aim is to optimize, extend with new features Automotive Solution. Our clients are Tier 1s and OEMs from Europe and USA and development is targeted to Automotive Solution what will be deployed in newest European cars. The project is considered as technical excellence and we are paying huge attention to technical challenge motivation of our team members as well as excellence compensation.
At our project we are building a computer-in-the-car architecture – key for enabling innovation within areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning and autonomous drive.

Requirements

The Strong Project Test Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of testing activities across various projects and releases. This role combines strong project management skills with deep knowledge of testing methodologies, focusing specifically on leading and mentoring a team of Test Engineers. The Manager ensures that all testing deliverables meet quality standards, are completed on schedule, and align with overall project goals. A core responsibility includes managing test resources, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement in the testing process, particularly regarding automation.

Job responsibilities

• Test Strategy and Project Management
  Define and manage the overall testing strategy and project plan for releases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across functional and technical domains.
  Oversee the creation and maintenance of test plans, test schedules, and execution reports provided by Test Engineers.
  Monitor project timelines, budget, and resource utilization for all testing phases, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  Act as the primary point of contact (DPM equivalent) for summarizing test results and communicating product quality status and risks to senior stakeholders.
• Team Leadership and Resource Management
  Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Test Engineers and Test Developers, fostering a culture of high quality, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
  Allocate testing resources (people, environments, tools) effectively across multiple projects and priorities.
  Conduct performance reviews and support the professional development of team members.
• Quality Assurance and Risk Management
  Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate risks related to test scope, environment readiness, and potential quality issues.
  Ensure test environments (including hardware and software baselines) are properly managed and maintained to support project requirements.
  Drive the continuous adoption of test automation and review proposals for automation work packages to maximize efficiency.
  Oversee the defect management process, ensuring issues are properly reported, prioritized, and tracked to resolution by the team.
