Hiring for Python Automation Tester role.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

6-8 years of hands-on experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer focusing on backend and API testing.

Proficient in Python programming language with solid experience in building and creating automation frameworks from scratch.

Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL mandatory; MySQL acceptable) with hands-on experience in database testing.

Expertise in API testing using Postman and REST API testing fundamentals (HTTP, endpoints, status codes, etc.).

Experience with test automation frameworks such as Pytest, Behave, RestAssured, WebdriverIO, and TestNG.

Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks tailored to backend and API testing.

Job responsibilities

– Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to identify opportunities to improve test coverage and optimize testing workflows

– Design and develop advanced test automation frameworks and tools for distributed backend applications and cloud services.

– Continuously improve the testing process by exploring new tools and techniques to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

– Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software quality assurance and automation.
