Embedded software for modern home appliances is a sophisticated system divided into multiple nodes connected via a bus network. These nodes measure real-time data such as pressure, temperature, and mechanical movements. The collected data is processed to control motors, heaters, valves, pumps, and fans. Furthermore, the system must seamlessly integrate with other devices within modern smart home solutions.

The team operates in a Linux environment and emphasizes high-level functionalities and IoT integration.

Requirements

• Excellent C++ knowledge
• Experience with embedded systems on Linux
• Advanced software architecture expertise
• Intermediate knowledge of the Matter protocol
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Pantavisor, containerization, Git, etc.)
• Strong communication skills
• Good command of English (at least B2)

Job responsibilities

• Develop software for oven appliances at the component level.
• Analyze requirements to determine efficient solutions.
• Implement software and perform bug fixes to ensure flawless performance.
• Build and maintain a testing framework, including automated regression tests.
• Set up and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) on Bamboo.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure the highest quality.
• Collaborate closely with the client to successfully implement software solutions.
