Description

GlobalLogic is seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in cloud technologies, software systems, and troubleshooting complex environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen across cloud platforms, system architecture, APIs, databases, Linux, and monitoring tools, with the ability to analyze issues, read code, and support scalable, secure systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Computing (Mandatory) with a deep understanding of cloud technologies and
    software architectures.
  • Must have experience in GCP Cloud, RDBMS or SQL, Rest API, Linux, Python or C#
  • Strong familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including their core services.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and high availability concepts.
  • Proficient in monitoring and log analysis tools for troubleshooting and performance analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with REST API tools, including Chrome DevTools, Postman, cURL, and Swagger / OpenAPI.
  • Ability to read and understand code written in Python or C#.
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux, including command-line operations and system troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL for querying, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
  • Experience interacting with, testing, and troubleshooting RESTful APIs, including understanding of authentication, authorization, and error handling mechanisms.
  • Good understanding of monitoring and logging frameworks.
  • Experience with SIEM/SOAR tools is a plus, particularly in security monitoring and incident response scenarios.
  • Must possess any graduation degree (Must have Provisional Certificate and Consolidated Marks Memo)
  • Must be willing to work from office & in rotational shifts (5 Working Days & 2 Week Offs)
  • Must be ready to join immediately

Job responsibilities

  • Act as a technical SME for cloud-based systems and applications.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across cloud, application, and infrastructure layers.
  • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Review application logs, metrics, and traces to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
  • Interact with and test REST APIs using industry-standard tools.
  • Support system observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
  • Provide guidance on best practices related to cloud architecture, security, and performance.
  • Contribute to incident response and, where applicable, SIEM/SOAR workflows.
