Responsibilities

Lead and manage engineering teams with 20+ direct and indirect reports across the USA and India.

Drive the design and implementation of data-intensive, scalable cloud-based applications with hands-on experience in Java and modern cloud platforms.

Own end-to-end project planning, estimation, and delivery of large, distributed, and complex projects.

Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, code quality, and engineering excellence.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable smooth communication, timely delivery, and high-quality outcomes.

Track and improve team performance using KPIs and engineering metrics (velocity, throughput, code quality).

Champion Agile methodologies: backlog tracking, sprint planning, burndown charts, and user story management.

Conduct performance reviews, foster career growth, and mentor team members to achieve their full potential.

Qualifications

Proven track record managing large engineering teams across multiple geographies.

Strong background in Java development and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and software delivery at scale.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of development experience in Java and Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proven experience in designing and scaling data-heavy applications.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT project management, with demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong experience managing distributed and remote teams.
• Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
• Ability to drive results through influence and collaboration.
