Description

Embedded software in modern home appliances is built as a complex system of multiple nodes connected via a bus network. These nodes measure parameters such as pressure, temperature, and mechanical movements in real time. The collected data is processed and used to control motors, heaters, valves, pumps, and fans. The system also remains interconnected with other devices as part of modern smart home solutions.

We are looking for a CI/CD / DevOps specialist with experience in embedded software projects, who is eager to evolve tools and processes in this area. Ideal candidates have programming or tool-building experience, and Python skills are a strong plus. Experience with electronics is highly valued.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience with CI/CD (DevOps or Configuration Management) in embedded software projects
• Solid experience with Python
• Good knowledge of tools such as Conan, CMake, and Docker
• Programming or tool-building experience in embedded or application projects
• Electronics experience is a strong plus
• Agile and professional mindset with a strong focus on high software quality
• Open-minded, proactive, and solution-oriented
• Independent and reliable, with the ability to work across team boundaries
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Good English communication skills (spoken and written)

Job responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, focusing on automation and workflow optimization
• Develop and maintain Jenkins shared libraries and plugins using Groovy
• Create and maintain automation scripts and tools in Python to support CI/CD processes
• Integrate testing frameworks and code quality tools into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks
• Monitor CI/CD pipeline health and continuously improve performance and reliability
• Work closely with development teams to onboard and support their projects within the CI/CD ecosystem
• Prepare and maintain documentation covering CI/CD workflows, best practices, and troubleshooting guidelines
• Keep up to date with emerging trends and best practices in CI/CD tools and methodologies
• Develop and maintain generic UI-related tooling (e.g. conan_toolchain_catalog) supporting technologies such as Qt for MCUs, Qt Creator, Squish, and GammaRay
