Role: Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure Focused – OEP (COP) Platform)
We are looking for a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer with deep Azure expertise to support a high-scale, event-driven microservices platform. This role requires strong ownership, the ability to operate independently, and experience supporting production systems at scale.
Key Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and architecture
Expertise in CI/CD using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred, ARM/Bicep acceptable)
Strong knowledge of Azure networking, security, and identity management (Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Dynatrace
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash, or Python)
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis
OEP (COP)-Specific Experience
Experience supporting high-scale, event-driven Azure platforms with millions of daily transactions
Strong understanding of API-driven architectures, including performance and SLA management (sub-2s response times)
Experience with event streaming platforms such as Azure Event Hubs or similar
Experience supporting distributed microservices environments across multiple dependent services
Experience operating in high-availability, enterprise production environments
Execution & Behavioral Expectations
Provides timely support to engineering teams, including PR reviews and infrastructure-related changes, to avoid blocking delivery
Proactively identifies and resolves production issues, risks, and blockers with minimal direction
Escalates issues early with clear context and recommended solutions
Works closely with engineering teams to support deployments, troubleshoot issues, and improve platform reliability
Supports environment readiness and release coordination across multiple services and teams
Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability for assigned systems and deliverables
