Our Client is a leading international financial services organization operating in the insurance sector, delivering innovative technology solutions that support millions of customers worldwide.
As a full stack Software Developer, you will join a distributed engineering team working on a variety of business-critical initiatives and digital transformation projects. You will collaborate closely with experienced professionals across product, engineering, and business functions to deliver high-quality software solutions in a modern Agile environment.
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be currently located in Ireland and have the right to work there.

Requirements
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline, and at least 1 year of commercial software development experience; alternatively, relevant industry certifications combined with 3+ years of commercial software development experience
- Hands-on experience in full-stack development using JavaScript, React, NodeJS, and NestJS
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL and MongoDB
- Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or XP
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to code quality and continuous improvement
Nice to Have
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud-based development environments
- Participation in technical communities, knowledge-sharing initiatives, or engineering forums
- Experience building customer-focused products while balancing technical and business requirements
Job responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance full-stack applications using modern JavaScript technologies
- Contribute to multiple projects and initiatives within the client’s technology portfolio
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable software solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices
- Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and deployment processes
- Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
- Apply security and quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of new technologies
- Share knowledge and collaborate with team members to foster engineering excellence
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and communicate progress effectively to stakeholders
