eBike | Digital Business is on a daring mission to build the first connected biking platform with an entirely new breed of products and services designed to drive the future of biking. The eBike Flow App is an important companion app for eBikes, providing features like customized riding, theft protection, advanced navigation, and activity tracking for a fast-growing base of several million registered riders
The “Test Automation Platform and Simulation” (TAPaS) team manages the “Test Center” (TC) to deliver automated end-to-end mobile testing (with a heavy BLE focus) and owns the overall mobile CI/CD toolchain to ensure seamless integration and rapid release cycles for mobile developers.
Requirements
- 5–7 years total Software Engineering experience;
- 3+ years in native Mobile development, preferably native Android development (Android SDK & Kotlin).
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle with, as already mentioned, a cross-platform mindset.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining mobile CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, Fastlane, Code Signing).
- Embraces both Android and iOS (Swift familiarity is a strong plus)
- Experience or willingness to maintain/develop with Flutter is a plus
- Experience with Mobile Test Automation frameworks; exposure to Mobile Test Automation platform development is a plus
- Self-motivated, proactive team player with strong out-of-the-box thinking to continuously improve developer workflows and platform stability.
Job responsibilities
CI/CD Pipeline & Toolchain Management:
– Build Pipeline Operations: Monitor, maintain, and extend native mobile app build pipelines in Jenkins based on developer feedback and build process errors to ensure fast, reliable, and high-quality integration cycles.
– Release & Deployment Automation: Manage automated build releases, deployment, and code signing configurations for both Android and iOS targets using Fastlane.
– Developer Workflow Optimization: Proactively gather developer needs to improve the pipeline setup, maintain static code analysis configurations, and maintain high developer experience across the team.
Mobile Test Automation Platform Development:
– Monorepo Enablement: Enable and expand new mobile test automation use cases by modifying and adjusting project configurations directly within the Android and iOS monorepo.
– System Integration & Testing Support: Collaborate with other testers to support the setup of a unified Mobile Test Automation platform for the eBike-mobile app integrated system, focusing heavily on the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) interface and protocols.
– Testing Companion App Maintenance: Maintaining the test companion app (built with Flutter)
