GlobalLogic communication delivery unit is looking for a manager with strong technical background to lead software engineering teams in the wireless connectivity domain. By becoming a part of the program you will be focusing on end-to-end development of the modern WiFi-based solutions enriching your professional experience through participation in dynamic, innovative and challenging assignment. – 6+ years in software development
– 4+ years experience as a technical project manager or agile product owner
– Proficiency in managing technical teams (30+ engineers)
– Solid technical background with wireless communication systems (e.g. Wi-Fi, WiMAX), Networking standards and architectures, Embedded solutions and Linux internals
– Hands-on experience with technical analysis, end-to-end solution delivery, backlog management and reporting
– Experience in staffing engineering teams
– Experience in financial planning and tracking
– Understanding of SDLC of an enterprise-grade scale
– Technical Higher Education, preferable Software development, or Telecom / Communication Systems
– Excellent communication skills
– Strong English knowledge
– Guide multiple engineering teams which own entire SDLC (i.e. architecture design, development, testing, integraton and post-release support) for the product(s) delivering WiFi-based connectivity
– Ensure the backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to everyone
– Engage collaboratively with hardware and software engineers, testers, architects and domain experts to ensure seamless integration of components and end-to-end system reliability
– Assure smooth delivery process and product support
– Support seamless communication with client stakeholders
– Identify and fix competence gaps in the teams, run staffing activities
– Handle project financials
