Addressing market demand, GlobalLogic expands its facility at Nagpur with focus on job creation in the region

NEW DELHI, India—March 15, 2019— GlobalLogic, a leader in Digital Product Engineering, announced further expansion of its current engineering footprint in Nagpur. With this expansion, GlobalLogic aims to further leverage Nagpur’s strong engineering talent and put it up on the Digital Engineering Map to create job opportunities for the region.

GlobalLogic’s new facility will house a range of talent as the firm is looking at creating a new stack of Software Engineers with higher level of trainability. To fulfil this goal, the company has also launched a GlobalLogic Education program offering cross-skills framework, architecture and training academy to provide its employees with opportunities to learn and upgrade their skill sets.

Commenting on the expansion, Mr. Sumit Sood, Managing Director, GlobalLogic APAC said that, “Our aim is to bring the new-age skillsets to Nagpur region by upgrading to the next level of the innovation and execution capabilities. With a total of 17,000 sq. feet workspace, the centre is equipped with top facilities along with relaxing themed board and meeting rooms, collaboration areas, fitness area, breakouts and private pantry for employees. The new expansion also promises a next level Customer Experience Center (CEC) to showcase the innovative value adds that teams are delivering to various clients. The facility will be capable of supporting over eight hundred employees by 2020.
