Description

Our project is a high-impact initiative focused on modernizing and scaling the Data Intelligence platform into a cloud-native, high-availability ecosystem. The project aims to bridge the gap between legacy on-premise data processing and modern hybrid-cloud architectures, enabling seamless data orchestration across AWS environments.
As a DevOps Engineer on this project, you will transition the platform from monolithic, manual deployments to a fully automated, containerized microservices architecture. You will be responsible for the “glue” that connects Java/Spring Boot backends and React frontends with a robust, secure, and observable AWS infrastructure.

Requirements

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, etc.).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, and EKS.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Experience with Keycloak.
• Knowledge of containerisation (Docker) and monitoring/logging tools
• Knowledge Open Telemetry and Open Observe
• Experience with Nginx
• Experience with Vault (HashiCorp)
• Strong scripting skills (Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Pro-active position on the project.
Nice to Have
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with deployment of Java/React applications.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.

Job responsibilities

Build and deploy Java applications (including Spring Boot) and React applications; create Docker images; and deploy them to AWS using Helm charts. Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. Work with both legacy and new application components, including reconfiguring existing components and designing and configuring new components from scratch.
