Job Description
We are looking for a Jasper Developer with strong Data Engineering experience and 5+ years of overall experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with JasperReports/Jaspersoft, SQL, databases, ETL, and data pipelines.
Job Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain JasperReports and Jaspersoft reports.
• Create complex reports, templates, subreports, parameters, and data sources.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for reporting requirements.
• Work on ETL processes and data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to support reporting and analytics.
• Troubleshoot report, database, and data pipeline issues.
• Optimize report and query performance.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Developers, and clients to understand requirements.
• Support report testing, deployment, maintenance, and production issues.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of reporting data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5+ years of overall IT experience with relevant experience in JasperReports/Jaspersoft and Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with JasperReports and Jaspersoft Studio.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL, complex queries, and stored procedures.
• Experience with ETL, data pipelines, data transformation, and data integration.
• Hands-on experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Good understanding of data warehousing and reporting concepts.
• Experience with Java is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Python, Apache Spark, Airflow, Databricks, or cloud data platforms.
• Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting environments.
• Knowledge of BI and analytics tools.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
