Description
We are seeking a mid-level test engineer to join our team and contribute to a new project focused on testing Linux-based systems with associated applications.
Our team will be involved in an international initiative to develop a custom embedded system and applications for multimedia devices. The project aims to create an innovative solution for these devices based on a new Linux distribution built within the Yocto environment.
As a member of the QA team, you will be responsible for testing and monitoring system components and applications, specifically examining performance, load, and stress to identify any bottlenecks or crashes.

Requirements
– Solid knowledge of Python scripting with at least 3-5 years of experience.
– Experience working with embedded and/or Android devices.
– Proficiency in using the Linux shell, including navigation, basic commands, operations, and an understanding of syntax and conventions.
– General experience with Linux, either from a development or user perspective.
– Familiarity with bash scripting.
– Very good command of the English language, at least at a B2 level (both written and spoken).
– Strong analytical skills and the ability to connect the dots.
**Preferred Skills:**
– Experience with Yocto.
– Experience in performance/load testing of Linux components.
– Experience using ADB and developing Android applications.
Job responsibilities
– Designing, implementing, and deploying automated tests that simulate end-user operation for system components and applications.
– Creating and implementing automated solutions for systems and applications in development.
– Monitoring performance under load conditions.
– Tracking the system and applications for crashes or bottlenecks.
– Detecting, describing, and reporting various issues related to overall system performance, operation, and other malfunctions.
