As GlobalLogic continues expanding our business, we are now looking for an experienced RTR Manager or Junior RTR Manager to join our Finance team. The final designation will be determined based on the interview results.

Requirements

• Experience in supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring that financial tasks are completed according to the schedule.
• Good understanding of accounting principles under German GAAP (HGB) and/or IFRS, with experience in preparing financial data for analysis.
• Ability to assist in explaining financial results, variances, and basic trends to senior management.
• Experience in contributing to the preparation of statutory financial statements (HGB) and supporting the assembly of IFRS reporting packages.
• Ability to coordinate and provide documentation for statutory, financial, and tax audits (HGB and IFRS).
• Experience in cooperating with external partners, such as auditors, tax advisors, and accounting service providers.
• An improvement-oriented mindset with an interest in assisting with the implementation of process efficiencies.
• Basic leadership skills or at least 1 year of experience in supervising a small team or acting as a Senior/Lead Accountant.
• Focus on data accuracy and a high level of precision in daily financial reporting tasks.
• Adaptable to organizational changes and willing to support a team through process transitions.
• Effective communication skills, ensuring team alignment on projects and daily tasks.
• Openness to working within a diverse, multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of accounting laws and tax regulations, with practical experience in following J-SOX internal controls is a nice-to-have.
• German language proficiency is an advantage.

Job responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring that financial deliverables are timely and accurate.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial results under German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, helping to identify and explain performance drivers and variances.
• Adhere to and monitor compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and tax regulations.
• Follow and support internal control procedures in accordance with J-SOX requirements to ensure a robust control environment.
• Support the preparation and coordination of statutory financial statements (HGB) and contribute to the completion of IFRS reporting packages.
• Act as a key point of contact for auditors during statutory, financial, and tax audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Maintain professional cooperation with external partners, such as auditors, tax advisors, and accounting service providers.
• Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and support the implementation of improved financial solutions.
