Ravi Thummarukudy, CEO of Mobiveil, Inc. has over 30 years of experience in the Semiconductor/IP/EDA industry. . Prior to this, he held various Global Business and Technology Management positions at Cadence Design Systems, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). He participated in several industry initiatives and has been a spoke person in many forums held worldwide. Previously he was the Chair of the Hyper Transport Business Task force that pioneered the low latency high speed serial interconnects. He has taught classes at the University of Santa Cruz extension in the Silicon Valley as well as contributed several articles to Chip Design Magazine, Electronic Design, ISD Magazine and Silicon India. He holds a BSEE from Mar Athanasius (MA) College of Engineering and MTech from IIT Madras.

As GlobalLogic CTO, AI, Yuriy leads the overarching AI vision, strategy, and growth roadmap, incubates new-age and deep-tech capabilities, and plays a significant role in partnering with GlobalLogic’s enterprise customers.



Before GlobalLogic, Yuriy founded and led the division of Alibaba Cloud to help transform vast cloud data silos into actionable-insights with value-added cybersecurity products, and to improve the security of Alibaba Group. Before Alibaba, he built AI machinery to process networking telecom data at Akamai, helping major internet service providers improve their defenses and harness the value of the data by launching security products, affecting a billion internet subscribers. Yuriy also volunteers his time as a contributor to the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) efforts in AI governance.



Originally receiving his Masters in Computer Science, he continued his studies at Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri, where he received his MBA in quantitative finance. Yuriy resides in Los Gatos and enjoys spending free time hiking in nature and fishing.
