We are looking for a Senior Classic AUTOSAR Software Integration Engineer who wants to shape the future by working on cutting-edge automotive solutions. You will be part of a team responsible for validation activities for next-generation vehicle controllers and software platforms.

In your daily work, you will engage with a modern architecture integrating advanced software functions such as cloud connectivity and edge processing – enabling highly automated driving and next-level connectivity features.

Requirements

  • Experience in Classic AUTOSAR software integration
  • Strong C development skills
  • Knowledge of Siemens AUTOSAR stack, Matlab, and Simulink
  • Experience with database integration (SDB, ARXML)
  • Experience with Trace32 debugging (Lauterbach preferred)
  • Familiarity with model-based system engineering and the V-model lifecycle
  • Familiarity with virtualization and containerization
  • Knowledge of CAN and LIN communication protocols
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to travel to China for an initial knowledge transfer (approx. 3 weeks, possible extension to 4 weeks, with potential repetition if needed)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Elektra
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Experience with industry cryptographic protocols
  • Familiarity with functional safety code analysis tools
  • Knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) processes
  • Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field

Job responsibilities

  • Integrate application software with underlying basic software services
  • Configure and generate AUTOSAR RTE
  • Perform build verification testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional SAFE teams across the full software development lifecycle (from requirements to system-level validation)
  • Work on software integration, testing, and validation within modern vehicle architectures
  • Support implementation and integration of automotive software platforms
