Description:

Involvement will be done by integration in client’s teams 

The project is a Hybrid control unit ECU, and client is developing control algorithms for the hybrid systems using matlab simulink and embedded coder, with some older legacy models developed in matlab 2016b and the new ones are beeing developed in matlab 2022b. That there are 2 teams one developing in matlab simulink components like thermal protection, battery charging, system monitoring, torque chain monitoring and some diagnostics, and are working together with a SW team. The project is or will be AUTOSAR compliant so there are or will be steps taken in that direction for development

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Matlab/Simulink Development Engineer with a focus on Automotive Applications to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Matlab/Simulink development, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment. This role requires experience in Matlab Simulink, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for automotive technology.

Technical Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Matlab/Simulink or a strong interest in this field
  • Experience with code generation (Targetlink or Embedded Coder is a plus)
  • Proficiency in C/C++ with a focus on embedded coding
  • Basic understanding of electronic circuitry is advantageous
  • Previous experience or a strong interest in the automotive domain is highly desirabl

Education Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Automatic Control & Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications & Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering is required

Personal Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt
  • Logical thinking and extrapolation abilities are highly valued

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize expertise in Matlab/Simulink environment for automotive applications
  • Implement changes within C-Code environment for measuring attributes using real-time controllers
  • Apply knowledge of Automatic Control Systems theory and Embedded Real-Time Control Systems
  • Familiarity with On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) standards and architecture
  • Understanding of ISO/SAE standard norms for CAN/LIN/PLC communication
  • Knowledgeable about Model-Based Systems Engineering and V-Cycle Software Development Process, including Agile Autoscrum
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Function Design and AUTOSAR compliance
  • Conduct reverse engineering of software and develop detailed test procedures for SW Quality Tasks
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and international environment, and demonstrate adaptability to change
  • Ability to synthesize and report findings to management
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-management capabilities with the ability to work independently
  • Proficient in English language
  • Ideally, possess 1-2 years of experience in the automotive industry
